Recently I was invited by Craig “Expert Joints” Ex and Cannabis Life Network to film a few episodes of Chronic Cooking.  Chronic Cooking was created by Craig Ex as a segment of his Expert Joints Live series.

We started the collaboration with the “Wake and Bake” episode to help you infuse your breakfast with cannabis medicine.  In the video you will see how to create “Whole Wheat Pancakes”, “Morning Power Muffins”, and “Purple Berry Kush Smoothies”.  Recipes in video and below.

Chronic Cooking – Whole Wheat Pancakes:

Ingredients; (Makes approx. 4-5 pancakes)

  • ¾ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Cup Quick Oats
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ Cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil (plus more for cooking)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 5 ml White Vinegar
  • 5 ml Vanilla Extract
  • Your dosage of cannabis oil per pancake.

Directions:

  • Mix the first 7 ingredients together in a mixing bowl,
  • In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until well incorporated;
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated,
  • Heat a non-stick pan to medium heat, add 5 ml coconut oil,
  • Spoon about 2-3 Tablespoons of batter into the pan,
  • Turn pancakes over when the tops are covered in bubbles, (approx. 2-3 minutes)
  • Serve, Eat well, Be Happy

Chronic Cooking – Morning Power Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1 Cup Grated Carrot
  • 1 Cup Grated Apple
  • ½ Cup Raisins
  • 1 Tbsp Hemp Hearts
  • ½ Cup Pumpkin Seeds (Roasted)
  • ¾ Cup Coconut Sugar (or Brown Sugar)
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil (w/ your dosage of cannabis oil)
  • 5 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

 

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350˚F
  2. In a small bowl whisk together the eggs, oil and vanilla,
  3. In a medium bowl add all remaining ingredients and incorporate together,
  4. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and incorporate slowly until mixed well.
  5. Grease, or muffin cup a 12 hole muffin tin,
  6. Scoop batter into cups about2/3 the way up the tin.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes,
  8. When finished remove from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.
  9. Serve, Eat Well, Be Happy

Chronic Cooking – Purple Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Frozen Raspberries
  • 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 5 Cups Milk
  • 1-2 ml Cannabis Oil
  • Sweetener (optional)

 

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients in a blender,
  2. Blend until well incorporated,
  3. Serve, Eat Well, Be Happy
