Welcome back to another episode of Chronic Cooking, today we are making Chronic Sauces.  We are in Cannabis Life Network kitchen studios with Craig Ex creating Chimichurri and Horseradish Cream Sauce. (Video Below)

You can use chimichurri as a meat marinade or as a dipping sauce.  If you use the chimichurri as a marinade, it would be best not to add cannabis oil.  Cooking the meat afterwards may burn off cannabinoids.

The horseradish cream sauce kicks up your beef / steak dishes to another level of flavour.  You can use with roasted beef, lamb, pork, chicken, potatoes, and even for dipping a nice grilled cheese and tomato sandwich in!!

The best is to use fresh horseradish and start slow, kind of like cannabis oil.  You can always add more horseradish if you need to but can’t take it out if you put too much.  Using fresh horseradish will give you a better flavor, yet, horseradish from a jar taste great too.

  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt plus more
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil (w/ your dosage of cannabis oil)
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 Fresno chile or red jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)


  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until finely chopped & incorporated.
  2. Serve, Eat Well, Be Happy

Horseradish Cream Sauce


  • 1/4 to 1/2 Cup Horseradish,
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 3-5 ml Cannabis Oil (or Your dosage of Cannabis Oil)
  • Kosher salt, to taste


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup grated horseradish, the sour cream, lemon juice, cannabis oil, and chives until combined.
  2. Season with salt and, if desired, up to 1/4 cup more horseradish to taste.
  3. Serve, Eat Well, Be Happy
